The CORE Institute plants roots in new medical campus: 3 takeaways

Practice Management

Phoenix-based The CORE Institute signed a lease to take over the first two stories of the new Mercy Medical Commons II in Gilbert, AZ, according to AZ Big Media.

Here are three takeaways.

1. The CORE Institute will occupy 20,000 square feet of the new medical complex. The group plans to develop a spine center within the first two floors.

2. MedProperties Group, a real estate developer, is overseeing the project. The company plans to break ground on the new facility in the third quarter of 2018 and estimate Mercy Medical Commons II will be complete in the third quarter of 2019.

3. It is unclear who else will lease out floors in the medical building. The CORE Institute's Chief Business Development Officer Peter Slate said, "This allows us to uniquely integrate all of the needs of our patients in the Gilbert-area into one state-of-the-art location."
