A new location was opened by OrthoConnecticut, an entity formed from the merger of four practices with offices in Fairfield and Litchfield counties, Register Citizen reports.

1. The new office opened in Litchfield, Conn.
2. Four orthopedic surgeons at the facility specialize in sports medicine, hand and upper extremity issues, total joint replacement, spine, shoulder and foot and ankle issues.
The physicians are Andrew N. Bazos, MD; Edmund A. Ganal, MD; John E. Mullen, MD; and Robert Yaghoubian, MD.
3. The new facility provides X-ray services.
4. OrthoConnecticut is the combined practice of New Milford (Conn.) Orthopedics, Danbury (Conn.) Orthopedics, Danbury-based Connecticut Pain Care and Coastal Orthopedics, which has offices in Norwalk, Westport and Darien, Conn.
