Salem, Va.-based LewisGale Regional Health System purchased Salem-based Virginia Orthopaedic, according to WFIR News.
The group will now be known as LewisGale Physicians — Virginia Orthopedics.
Physicians will remain at the orthopedic group's original Salem location. Nine of the 10 physicians at the orthopedic group will remain with the new organization.
