Construction began on an urgent care medical complex in Clifton Park, N.Y., which will be operated by Albany Medical Center and Columbia Development Companies, reports The Daily Gazette, a local CBS affiliate in New York.
Four things to know:
1. The 14,000-square-foot, $4.5 million project will be divided into three buildings and is set for completion by fall.
2. It will feature a new satellite office for orthopedic specialists with The Bone and Joint Center, which has 39 physicians and focuses on treatments for the spine, hand, upper and lower extremities, hips and sports-related injuries.
3. Columbia Development Companies, one of the largest real estate development companies in New York’s Capital Region, owns the land and will manage the property.
4. There will be 14 full-time employees and an MRI machine onsite.
