Golden Valley, Minn.-based Twin Cities Orthopedics announced its new CEO as Aaron Johnson, who will transition into the role over the next few months.
Mr. Johnson succeeds Troy Simonson, who has held the role since 2013, according to an Oct. 22 announcement.
Since 2013, Mr. Johnson has operated as COO, overseeing clinical operations and the development of new office locations and ASCs. He was pivotal in establishing the practice's value-based care strategy and expanding its subspecialty service lines.
Mr. Simonson will focus on his role as CEO of Revo Health, which Twin Cities formed in 2017 to support long-term growth initiatives. Revo Health supports the group's revenue cycle, IT and human resources operations.
The organization said it plans to share Twin Cities' strategies with local and national independent practices to foster growth, particularly in the area of value-based care.
