Michael Janssen, DO, founder of the Center for Spine & Orthopedics in Denver, is opening a spine clinic in Saratoga, Fla., according to The Saratoga Sun.
What you should know:
1. Dr. Janssen is a frequent visitor to Saratoga. He will begin seeing patients monthly in the new clinic, beginning Nov. 20.
2. He is among the first surgeons to perform total disc replacement in the cervical spine.
2. Dr. Janssen has performed more than 1,000 total disc replacement surgeries and trained over 150 surgeons in the procedure.
4. Centinel Spine recently appointed him as an investigator for a two-level total disc replacement study on symptomatic cervical disc disease.
