Morristown, N.J.-based Altair Health, a physician-managed health system focused on spine care, appointed Mark Farrington CEO.
Altair Health is "pushing traditional boundaries with an integrated, evidence-based approach to spine and neurosurgical care," Mr. Farrington said in a Jan. 26 news release. "Just as our physicians and clinicians are raising the bar, I'm looking forward to steering the organization to the next level."
For the past decade, Mr. Farrington served as CEO of Mayfield Brain & Spine, a 19-surgeon practice providing care to patients across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. The practice is seeking his replacement.
He also operated as CEO of Orthopaedic Associates of Allentown (Pa.), Biloxi, Miss.-based Bienville Orthopedic Center and Culicchia Neurological Clinic in New Orleans.
Altair Health has a team of 45 providers, according to its website. It comprises a surgery center, a spine and wellness center, a brain tumor center and a neurovascular center.
