A new-look Centennial (Colo.) Hospital, formerly Centennial Medical Plaza, will open March 1 with a number of new service lines that include orthopedics and spine surgery, the Centennial Citizen reports.
The facility's medical office buildings continue to house new specialty providers that also extend to sports medicine, oncology and general surgery.
Centennial Hospital was previously a freestanding emergency room with outpatient services, according to the report. The expansion adds 20 inpatient beds and more than 80 staff to the hospital, which is part of Denver-based HealthOne. The facility previously had about 45 staff.
Affiliated with The Medical Center of Aurora, Centennial Hospital is equipped with four ICU beds and ventilators should it need to treat COVID-19 patients.
