John Larkin, MD, joined Sharonville, Ohio-based Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
Dr. Larkin has more than 40 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, according to an April 12 announcement. He was named a 2021 Cincinnati Magazine Top Doctor and has been included on the list each year since 2002.
A leader in medicine, Dr. Larkin was the past chair of the Ohio State Medical Society and the Northern Kentucky Medical Society. He's also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and past president of the Academy of Medicine of Greater Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Orthopaedic Society.
He received his bachelor's degree and medical degree from Lexington-based University of Kentucky and completed a dual internship and residency at Yale New Haven (Conn.) Hospital.
