Providence-based Ortho Rhode Island, a 25-physician group, has opened a $33 million flagship facility in Warwick, WPRI reports.
The 66,000-square-foot facility has an ASC with eight operating rooms on the third floor. Orthopedic, imaging and physical therapy services are provided on the first and second floors.
The building has consolidated the practice's Warwick and East Greenwich, R.I., offices.
"When we first came together at Ortho Rhode Island ... we had 17 different locations in a state that only has 34 towns," Michael Bradley, MD, CEO of the practice, told WPRI. "Now we're getting to a point where we're rightsizing, and this building is a big part of that."
The building is on the same campus as a biotechnology research and development center.
