Phoenix-based HonorHealth on May 20 opened a $44 million neuroscience institute in Scottsdale, the Phoenix Business Journal reported.
The Bob Bové Neuroscience Center at Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center is a five-story, 250,000-square-foot facility that provides a multidisciplinary approach to spine and neurological care under one roof.
The team of providers comprises neurosurgeons, neurologists, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists, and occupational and physical therapists. Research and clinical trials will be a key focus at the center.
HonorHealth plans to develop similar "one-stop" multidisciplinary centers for heart and vascular care, according to the report.
