Pennsylvania hospital strikes health system partnership after orthopedic surgeon retires

Six orthopedic surgeons from Coordinated Health will provide care at Endless Mountain Health System in Montrose, Pa.

Coordinated Health, part of Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network, partnered with Endless Mountain to bolster care in the area after the hospital's only orthopedic surgeon retired.

The six surgeons will share responsibilities at the 25-bed hospital as well as their regular workloads, according to a May 27 news release.

The surgeons are spine specialists Christopher Henderson, MD, and Alan Gillick, MD; total joint surgeons Harry Schmaltz, MD, and Jack Henzes, MD; and sports medicine specialists Thomas Jordan, MD, and P. Christopher Metzger, MD.
