U.S. Orthopaedic Partners struck its third deal in July and added North Alabama Bone and Joint Clinic in Florence.
The practice has two facilities in Alabama, operates at two hospitals and has an ASC, according to a July 21 news release. It has seven physicians and six physician assistants.
"My partners and I are very excited about the opportunity to work with USOP in partnership with other elite practices across the Southeast," A.E. Joiner, MD, a surgeon at North Alabama Bone and Joint Clinic said. "We strongly feel that this decision will enable us to continue [providing] first-class resources and state-of-the-art services that our patients have come to expect and deserve."
U.S. Orthopaedic Practices also added Birmingham, Ala.-based Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center and Tupelo-based Orthopaedic Institute of North Mississippi in July.
