Cincinnati-based Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has opened a clinic in Crestview Hills, Ky., the practice's 15th location, The River City News reports.
John Larkin, MD, a sports medicine surgeon who joined Beacon in April, is leading the clinic, which he hailed as a prime opportunity to expand access to care in the area. The practice also has locations in Ohio and Indiana.
"I have been an integral part of the Crestview Hills community for several years, and Beacon looks forward to being a part of the community for many years to come," he told the publication.
In Kentucky, Beacon Orthopaedics has another clinic in Erlanger and is expected to open another in Fort Thomas next year.
The practice has 42 physicians, four of whom were recruited in January after Cincinnati-based Wellington Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine merged with OrthoCincy Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
