Atrium Health and Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine, both based in Charlotte, N.C., are teaming up to advance spine care delivery, the company said Oct. 18.
The joint venture, dubbed SpineFirst, will offer services including nonoperative treatment options, minimally invasive outpatient surgery and more complex surgical procedures.
SpineFirst will provide complete spine care through a 27-physician network with specialists in neurosurgery, physiatry and orthopedic spine surgery.
The physicians will treat patients at Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates and Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Sports Medicine's 14 locations.
