Barrington (Ill.) Orthopedics launched ClinicalBox's PrecisionAuth tool at its locations.
PrecisionAuth automates prior authorizations and can make preparations 85 percent faster, according to a Jan. 6 news release. Barrington Orthopedics CEO Rik Baier said the tool has helped the practice book more procedures and grow without adding staff.
"PrecisionAuth is seamlessly integrated with our EHR, supporting surgical, pain injection and imaging prior auths for every single health plan we work with," he said.
