In the last six months, four orthopedic practices went on hiring sprees, adding a total of 16 physicians.
1. Richmond, Va.-based OrthoVirginia hired six physicians between September and November.
2. Edgewood, Ky.-based OrthoCincy added three physicians in December, bringing the practice's total to 43.
3. Albuquerque-based New Mexico Orthopaedic Associates hired four physicians in January.
4. Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Orthopedic Institute hired three surgeons in February.
