IMAC Holdings' Q1 sales grow along with Walmart presence

Practice Management

IMAC Holdings reported revenue growth for the fourth consecutive quarter, according to results posted May 13.

Four things to know:

1. First quarter revenue in 2022 was $3.9 million, an increase of 28 percent year-over-year.

2. Patient visits at IMAC clinics were up 3.7 percent year-over-year.

3. IMAC Holding's spine retail company, the Back Space, completed its Walmart pilot program and committed to at least 20 new locations over the next year.

4. "We are encouraged by the consumer adoption of the Back Space spinal health and wellness services," CEO Jeffrey Ervin said in a news release. "One of the clinics achieved operating break-even eight weeks after opening. Recruiting quality teammates will continue to drive success with this operating model, and the model's limited overhead allows us to compensate competitively in the marketplace."
