Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Tad Gerlinger of Rush University Medical Center

Tad Gerlinger, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He specializes in hip replacement, knee replacement, knee surgery and minimally invasive knee replacement among many others.

He has authored and contributed many scientific publications. His research interests include implant design and survival, arthroplasty in young and activity patients as well as total hip and knee replacement clinical outcomes.

 

Dr. Gerlinger attended medical school at F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine — Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland. He completed orthopedic surgery residencies at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash., and the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Gerlinger completed a fellowship in orthopedic surgery from Rush University Medical Center.
