Hamptom Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Virginia is one of the largest orthopedic practices in its area. HROSM has provided patient care for more than 50 years, and presently offers a variety of orthopedic services at its three locations in Newport News, Williamsburg and Yorktown. The practice's Multi-Positional MRI was the first of its kind in Virginia to provide upright MR imaging to patients throughout the area. The MRI allows physicians to see a patient's pathology when the patient experiences pain when standing, sitting, in flexion and extension and rotation and lateral bending.
HROSM 's Physical Therapy Center provides high quality rehabilitation equipment. The practice's physician therapists are board-certified as orthopedic clinical specialists. The Workers' Compensation Department is one of the largest departments in the area and aims to return injured workers back to their daily work environment.
