The Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons named new leadership, according to an AAOS Now report.

The new leadership includes:

 

1. Marlene DeMaio, MD (president), Huntington (W.Va.) VA Medical Center

 

2. Donald H. Lee, MD (first vice-president) Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

 

3. Richard J. Friedman, MD (second vice president), Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston

 

4. R. Lor Randall, MD (secretary), University of Utah Health Care in Salt Lake City

 

5. Xavier A. Duralde, MD (treasurer), Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic in Atlanta

 

6. Guido Marra, MD (treasurer-elect), Northwestern Medicine in Chicago

 

7. Charles Saltzman, MD (immediate past president), University of Utah Health Care in Salt Lake City

 

8. Miguel A. Ayerza, MD (past president)

 

9. Randall E. Marcus, MD (chair, Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research board of trustees), University Hospitals in Cleveland

 

10. Matthew B. Dobbs, MD (member-at-large), Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis
