Sanda L. Tomak, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. She serves as a clinical instructor in Yale University's orthopedics department in New Haven.
Performing foot and ankle arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Tomak specializes in articular cartilage regeneration, sports injuries and total ankle replacement.
A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Tomak is affiliated with the American Society of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and American Medical Association, among others.
After receiving her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Tomak completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Yale-New Haven (Conn.) Hospital. She then did a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta.
