Dallas-based McCarthy Building Companies will build Children's Health Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Plano, Texas, according to healthcare design.
Here are five observations:
1. The project broke ground on Nov. 6.
2. Children's Health Andrews Institute's 185,000-square-foot facility will be four stories.
3. It will house four operating rooms, an imaging center, physical therapy space and orthopedic and other pediatric clinics.
4. Additionally, the facility will have indoor and outdoor athletic performance facilities.
5. Connected to the building, patients and staff can park at a five-level parking structure with space for 1,000 cars.
