Specializing in hand and wrist disorders, Samuel Scott, MD, holds a special interest in joint replacement surgery in the hand.
Dr. Scott serves as chief of surgery at Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine. He also is the vice president-elect of the New England Hand Society.
Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Scott is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He earned his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, N.H. Following medical school, he completed an orthopedic residency at Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon, N.H. Dr. Scott underwent a hand surgery fellowship at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York.
