Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Juliet DeCampos of Andrews Institute Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine

Juliet DeCampos, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Andrews Institute in Pensacola, Fla. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, Dr. DeCampos is the medical director of the minor league baseball team Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Previously, Dr. DeCampos served as the chief of staff for Pensacola-based Baptist Hospital and served on the medical advisory board for the Baptist Medical Park Surgery Center.

Dr. DeCampos is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and American Association of Orthopaedic Surgery, as well as a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiner. Specializing in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine, she serves as an associate master instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

 

Dr. DeCampos earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California. After medical school, she completed her internship and residency at the same institution. Dr. DeCampos underwent her sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Inglewood, Calif.
