High Point (N.C.) Regional will open a new community clinic this spring in a partnership with High Point University, according to the News & Record.
Here are five quick notes:
1. The clinic will be located at the university's Human Biomechanics & Physiology Lab.
2. The hospital hopes to open the clinic in late May.
3. The outpatient clinic will offer physical and occupational therapy for back and neck problems as well as orthopedic and sports injuries, among other ailments.
4. This is the hospital's fourth rehab clinic. The hospital also operates two similar facilities in High Point and one in Thomasville, N.C.
5. High Point Regional will hire two new people for the clinic's opening in May. During the next five years, the hospital expects to add six to 10 clinical therapists and support staff.
