Peter Cha, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon focusing on sports medicine at Cincinnati-based Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He is the team physician of the Cincinnati Wolfhounds and numerous area high schools. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Cha's clinical interests include sports-related injuries and pathology of the shoulder, knee, hip elbow, foot and ankle. He has expertise in trauma and reconstructive procedures as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques and arthroscopy. He previously served as the assistant team physician for the University of Pittsburgh Division 1 athletic teams and for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Dr. Cha completed his medical degree and residency from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
