Claudius Jarrett, MD, practices at Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare, where he also serves as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association for Hand Surgery.
Dr. Jarrett focuses on conditions of the hand, elbow and shoulder including arthritis, tendon injuries, fractures, sports injuries and trauma. He also has expertise in microvascular surgery and shoulder arthroplasty. His research projects center on rotator cuff injuries, shoulder arthritis and upper extremity fractures. His work has been published in prestigious journals, such as the Journal of Hand Surgery and Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
Dr. Jarrett obtained his medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, after which he completed his internship and residency at Emory University School of Medicine. He has completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
