Here are eight orthopedic surgeons in the news this past week:

Pascal-André Vendittoli, MD, performed the first outpatient total hip replacement procedure in Quebec.

 

John D. Osland, MD, joined Jefferson Healthcare Orthopedic Clinic in Port Townsend, Wash.

 

For the fourth year, orthopedic surgeon Teddy L. Atik, MD, was recognized by NJ Top Docs, an organization that reviews healthcare providers in New Jersey.

 

Kenneth Sands, MD, is the first surgeon in Florida trained and certified to perform a new type of knee replacement.

 

Orthopedic surgeon and pain management specialist Matthew Bennett, MD, joined the University Health System pain management team in Vestal, N.Y.

 

Nathaniel Slinkard, MD, joined Affiliated Community Medical Centers, a network of clinics throughout Minnesota.

 

Orthopedic spine surgeon W. Daniel Bradley, MD, joined the Spine Institute of Idaho, which has offices in Meridian, Idaho, and Caldwell, Idaho.

 

The Jamestown, N.D.-based Jamestown Regional Medical Center added Timothy Volk, DO, to its team of orthopedic surgeons.
