Dr. Charles Ruotolo named a Leading Physician of the World: 4 things to know

The International Association of HealthCare Professionals recently welcomed Charles J. Ruotolo, MD, to their organization by naming him among The Leading Physicians of the World. Here's what you need to know. 

1. Dr. Ruotolo is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic, shoulder and knee surgery. He has practiced for more than 21 years and is currently working at Total Orthopaedics and Sport Medicines in New York.

 

Additionally, Dr. Ruotolo serves as the chairman of orthopedic surgery for the Nassau University Medical Center.

 

2. Dr. Ruotolo earned his medical degree from New York Medical College. He had residencies at the State University of New York Stony Brook University Hospital and Winthrop University Hospital. He completed a fellowship at the California-based Sports Clinic of Laguna Hills.

 

3. Dr. Ruotolo is a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

 

4. Out of his professional career, Dr. Ruotolo is an avid soccer fan.
