Adam T. Perry, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at The CORE Institute at Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists, a practice based in Lafayette. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine and total joint replacement.
Prior to joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Perry practiced at Lafayette-based Louisiana Orthopaedic Center for Athletes, of which he was a founding physician. Today, he provides orthopedic coverage for athletic teams in the Lafayette area, including University of Louisiana and Teurlings Catholic High School. Dr. Perry is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and holds memberships with Louisiana Orthopaedic Association and Louisiana State Medical Society.
Dr. Perry earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University, where he also did an orthopedic surgery residency. He went on to complete an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at San Antonio-based University of Texas Health Science Center.
