James Hall, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at The Center, an orthopedic and neurosurgical center with 10 clinic locations throughout Oregon. Dr. Hall specializes in the treatment of hip and knee conditions.
His areas of expertise include adult total joint replacement, cartilage reconstruction and computer-assisted joint replacement. Dr. Hall joined The Center's orthopedic team in 2005, after serving 14 years of active duty with the U.S Army. He worked as a flight surgeon in Germany and Somalia and as part of NASA's space shuttle emergency medical team in Morocco. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Hall earned his medical degree at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, N.Y. He went on to complete residency training at Honolulu-based Tripler Army Medical Center and an orthopedic fellowship at La Jolla, Calif.-based Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation.
