Jack Steel, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Scott Orthopedic Center, a practice based in Huntington, W.Va. His clinical interests include arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine.
He is a clinical assistant professor of surgery in the division of orthopedic surgery at Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Huntington, W.Va.-based Marshall University. He served as a charter member and former president of the West Virginia Orthopaedic Society. He has been a diplomat of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1990 and holds memberships with Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Medical Association and West Virginia State Medical Association, among other professional societies.
Dr. Steel earned his medical degree at West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, where he also completed an orthopedic residency.
