Robert Talac, MD, PhD, is an orthopedic surgeon and founder of Humble, Texas-based Advanced Spine Institute.
Dr. Talac specializes in spine surgery and also treats carpal tunnel syndrome and work injuries. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation and LA Lithograph Cleveland Clinic. Throughout his career, Dr. Talac has published over 70 written works and six textbooks.
Dr. Talac obtained his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine of Czech Republic-based Masaryk University before completing his orthopedic surgery residency and internship at UC San Diego. He then underwent his spine surgery fellowship at the Cleveland-based Center for Spine Health.
