Orthopedic surgeon Kenneth Johnson, MD, has joined Austin-based Mayo Clinic Health System, according to the Austin Daily Herald.
Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Johnson previously practiced at Waycross, Ga.-based Mayo Clinic Health System, where he specialized in hip and knee replacements.
2. He obtained his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at Boston University Hospital System.
3. Dr. Johnson said, "I look forward to getting to know my patients and being there for them when they need it most…Having a hand in helping others be able to enjoy life again is a wonderful feeling."
