Orthopedic surgeon Dr. John 'Jerry' Johnson dies — 5 details

John T.H. 'Jerry' Johnson, MD, an orthopedic surgeon from the Baltimore area has died, according to The Baltimore Sun

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Dr. Johnson died on April 3 at age 94.

 

2. He was a partner in the Four East Madison Orthopedic Association in Towson, Md., and retired in 1989.

 

3. A U.S. Army Medical Corps veteran, Dr. Johnson served at Fort Sam Houston in Texas and at the Presidio in San Francisco.

 

4. He joined his father at the Benett, Johnson and Eaton practice which later became Four East Madison Orthopedic Association.

 

5. Dr. Johnson was editor of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and practiced in several Baltimore-area locations.
