Lisa K. Cannada, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and associate professor of orthopedic traumatology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Cannada serves as a reviewer for medical journals and has been the editor for the Orthopaedic Trauma Association's newsletter. She also has interest in risk factors for heterotopic ossification after elbow trauma and fracture care.
Dr. Cannada is a member the Missouri Orthopaedic Association, Mid America Orthopaedic Association, Orthopaedic Trauma Association and Foundation of Orthopaedic trauma.
After earning her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Dr. Cannada completed her residency at Case Western University School of Medicine in Detroit. She additional is fellowship trained at the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
