Nina Lightdale-Miric, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and director of the pediatric hand and upper extremity surgery program at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Dr. Lightdale-Miric is also the founder and director of the Center for Achievement of Teens and Children with Hand Differences and an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles.
Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Lightdale-Miric's clinical interests includes congenital hand reconstruction, upper extremity trauma, microsurgery, birth brachial plexus palsy and cerebral palsy treatment.
Dr. Lightdale-Miric is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Society for Surgery of the Hand and California Hand Society.
After earning her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, N.H., Dr. Lightdale-Miric completed her residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. Dr. Lightdale-Miric is also fellowship trained from the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, Boston Children's Hospital and
Dallas-based Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.
