Laura Prokuski, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Sonoran Orthopaedic Trauma in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Dr. Prokuski specializes in nonunions, malunions, infections, amputations and post traumatic elbow reconstructions. She participated in the collaboration between the U.S. Military and Orthopaedic Trauma Association to send aid to Haiti in 2010.
Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Prokuski is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.
After earning her medical degree from the Iowa City-based University of Iowa College of Medicine, Dr. Prokuski completed her residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Dr. Prokuski underwent fellowship training at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
