Joseph Moskal, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and chair of orthopedics at the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Va.
Additionally, Dr. Moskal serves as the chairman of orthopedic surgery at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke and as an associate professor at Charlottesville-based University of Virginia
Medical School.
Dr. Moskal has more than 75 publications in reference journals and more than 30 published abstracts. He has given more than 1,400 presentations and is the chairman of the American Academy of
Orthopaedic Surgeons Exhibits Committee.
After earning his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Dr. Moskal completed his residency at the University of Virginia Medical School. He is fellowship trained from
Cleveland Clinic and Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services System in Baltimore.
