Constance Chu, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Stanford (Calif.) Medicine.
Dr. Chu serves as professor and vice chair of research at Stanford University's Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Redwood City, Calif. She is director of the Joint Preservation Center at the VA Palo Alto (Calif.), where
she is also chief of sports medicine.
Recipient of more than 30 professional awards, Dr. Chu was recognized as a "Top Doctor" in orthopedic surgery by Castle-Connolly/US News and World Report. She is a member of the American Association of
Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Association and Herodicus Society of leaders in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Chu attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. and graduated with a medical degree from Cambridge, Mass.-based Harvard Medical School. She underwent fellowship training at Brigham and Women's
Hospital Harvard Medical School in Boston and Philadelphia-based Drexel University.
