Frank Kolisek, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Indianapolis-based OrthoIndy.
Dr. Kolisek has been with OrthoIndy and OrthoIndy Hospital for nearly 20 years. During that time, he has served two terms as OrthoIndy's president. He started his own Indianapolis-based practice in 1992.
Indianapolis Monthly named Dr. Kolisek a top doctor in orthopedic surgery from 2010 to 2017, and U.S. News & World Report named him a top doctor in orthopedic surgery twice.
Dr. Kolisek's professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Indiana Orthopaedic Society and Indiana State Medical Society.
After graduating from the Peoria-based University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. Kolisek completed a residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville. He underwent fellowship training at Emory University and the Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic, both in Atlanta, Ga.
