Robert Trousdale, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Trousdale is a consultant and chair of the division of adult reconstruction in the Mayo Clinic's orthopedic surgery department.
In 2018, Dr. Trousdale earned The Chitranjan S. Ranawat MD Award from the Knee Society. He is a member of the International Hip Society and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, as well as a board member of the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.
A University of Notre Dame (Ind.) graduate, Dr. Trousdale earned his medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed both an internship and fellowship at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, and was a fellow of A-O and the M.E. Muller Foundation.
