The Orthopaedic Institute, based in Gainesville, Fla., appointed new executive leadership.
Here are five things to know.
1. TOI named Richard Gilbert, MD, as CEO. Dr. Gilbert previously served as President of telehealth provider MDLIVE and as CMO of Mednax. He holds an MBA from Duke University in Durham, N.C.
2. William Hubbard is TOI's new COO. He previously served at Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System, now known as Atrium Health. He holds an MHA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
3. Michael Andersen was named vice president of corporate development. He previously served as a director with New York City-based private equity fund Bregal Partners.
4. Andrew Rocca, MD, was named CMO of TOI, expanding upon his previous managerial and clinical duties for the organization.
5. These company expects these executive leadership additions to accelerate TOI's growth throughout North Central Florida.
