Todd Schmidt, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at OrthoAtlanta, will serve as the 2018 Medical Honoree for the Atlanta Walk to Cure Arthritis May 5.
Here are three things to know.
1. The annual Walk to Cure Arthritis is the largest arthritis gathering in the world.
2. Dr. Schmidt is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon whose practice focuses on sports medicine, shoulder, hip and knee disorders, fracture care and arthritic joint reconstruction.
3. Dr. Schmidt received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Minneapolis and underwent sports medicine fellowship training at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Ga. He completed an addition fellowship with a focus on shoulder surgery at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada.
