Eric M. Cohen, MD, joined Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics.
Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Cohen is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction surgery.
2. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis and underwent trauma and adult reconstruction fellowship training at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University in Providence, R.I.
3. Dr. Cohen will also join the Warren Alpert Medical School's orthopedic department as an assistant professor. He will see patients at the Miriam Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital, both in Providence, as well as at all University Orthopedics locations.
