Steven Blackwood, MD, joined Oxford (Miss.) Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Blackwood is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery.
2. Previously, Dr. Blackwood provided services to the Milwaukee Brewers as well as various collegiate and high school athletic teams.
3. After earning his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Dr. Blackwood completed his residency at Milwaukee-based Medical College of Wisconsin and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan in Grand Rapids.
