Flagstaff-based Northern Arizona Orthopaedics welcomed Scott Gibson, DO, Peter Gibson, MD, and Cody Martin, MD, to provide care in Sedona (Ariz.) and Prescott Valley (Ariz.).
Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Scott Gibson specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive shoulder surgery. After earning his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Dr. Gibson completed his residency at Stillwater-based Oklahoma State University and a shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at The CORE Institute in Phoenix.
2. With expertise in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery, Dr. Peter Gibson treats disorders and injuries associated with muscle, joint, bone nerve, tendon and soft tissue. Dr. Gibson earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine in Richmond and completed his residency at Newark, N.J.-based Rutgers University. He then underwent fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery, with advanced training in microvascular, from The Hand Center of San Antonio.
3. Dr. Martin specializes in primary and revision total hip and knee replacement. After earning his medical degree from Salt Lake City-based University of Utah School of Medicine, Dr. Martin completed his residency at University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville and a hip and knee replacement fellowship at University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
