Semon Bader, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Muir Orthopaedic Specialists in Walnut Creek, Calif.
Dr. Bader is also affiliated with Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez, Calif., where he serves as chief of orthopedic surgery.
With expertise in sports medicine and joint preservation, Dr. Bader serves as a team physician for Pleasant Hill, Calif.-based Diablo Valley College and Los Medanos College in Pittsburg, Calif.
Previously, Dr. Bader was a member of medical teams for the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Browns. He was also a team physician for Cleveland State University.
Dr. Bader is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and he is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
After earning his medical degree from UC Davis, Dr. Bader completed his residency at Harbor-UC Los Angeles Medical Center and a sports medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
