Robert Blease, MD, joined Plains, Mont.-based Clark Fork Valley Hospital, according to Clark Fork Valley Press.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Blease will provide orthopedic care services, including trauma, joint replacement, sports medicine and arthroscopy, effective January 2019.
2. He was a Special Forces medic in the U.S. Army from 1991-95.
3. While stationed in Miami in 2010, Dr. Blease served as an orthopedic trauma training instructor and assistant director of the Jackson Memorial Medical Center/Army Training Center in Miami.
4. After earning his medical degree from Bethesda, Md.-based Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Dr. Blease completed his residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Fort Bliss, Texas, and an orthopedic trauma fellowship at University of Tennessee School of Medicine Chattanooga.
